Interpreting Excellence
Jiayin “Jenny” Zheng is a professional Chinese–English interpreter with native/near-native fluency in both Mandarin and English. Raised bilingual, she transitioned into interpreting and translating after a successful start in the finance industry and extensive international travel. Since 2012, she has worked full-time in the language field.
Jenny is a licensed court interpreter in Texas, California, Oklahoma, and Wyoming. She also serves as a contract interpreter for the United States Federal Court and the U.S. Department of Justice’s Executive Office for Immigration Review.
In addition to her courtroom work, Jenny provides interpreting services for business meetings and conferences throughout the southern United States. Her clients have included South by Southwest, American Airlines, AWS, Chuck E. Cheese, the University of Rochester, Midea Appliances, and Guangxi LiuGong Machinery, among others. To date, she has interpreted in well over a thousand legal proceedings, conferences, and high-level meetings across the U.S.
Jenny holds a Master’s degree in Conference Interpreting from the Middlebury Institute of International Studies at Monterey (MIIS), following a rigorous training at Shanghai International Studies University (SISU). She also earned dual bachelor’s degrees in Finance (with a minor in Accounting) and Mathematics from the University of Texas at Austin.
